When you have to go away or work long hours, you may worry about leaving your pet home alone. Have you ever wondered “Is there a pet or dog sitter in Norwich that can help?”.

Luckily, with Pawshake, you can easily find local and trusted pet and dog carers from Norwich to provide drop in visits and other services. This means a pet sitter will come and visit your pet at a time you both agree on and provide lots of love and personal attention. This can include playtime in the backyard, a walk to the local park, or just some cuddle time. Our pet carers can also administer medication, give food, and refresh the water bowl.

In home pet sitting services are a great way to break up the day and enrich it for your pet. Pawshake pet sitters have extensive experience caring for a range of pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and more. If you have multiple pets, home visits are a great option to ensure that they all get a visit and lots of attention during the day.

Drop in visits are the least stressful option for your pet because your pet can stay in their favourite environment – their own home in Norwich. Their surroundings will be familiar and our loving and passionate Pawshake sitter will spoil them each day. Our sitters will treat your home with respect and are flexible with timing, requests and durations. All this can be discussed before you make a home visit booking.

Pet boarding is a great option for when you are away for a few days and your pet needs overnight care. Unlike pet hotels, Pawshake pet boarding allows you to arrange a personalised daily routine for your pet, whether this be extra belly rubs, playtime or 24 hour supervision. Your pet will stay with the pet sitter in a cosy home environment, rather than a large, impersonal pet hotel.

So whether you need just one day, a week or even a month, you’ll be able to find an experienced pet or dog carer to accommodate you and your pet’s needs in Norwich. The best part is that your Pawshake pet sitter is from your local neighbourhood, so they will be familiar with the area.

Our pet carers also have a range of experiences which include puppies, seniors, nervous pets and dog training. So if your pet has special requirements, you’ll be sure to find a pet sitter that is a good match for you.

Your pet’s safety and welfare is a big priority for us, which is why all of our Pawshake pet sitters undergo a strict vetting process by our trust and safety team. At Pawshake, we understand that you might feel a little uneasy allowing a pet sitter to enter your home or arranging pet boarding at their place. This is why Pawshake pet sitters also have reviews from other pet parents that are publicly available on their profile for you to read.

Each pet sitting home visit and pet boarding booking made through Pawshake is covered by the Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer support 7 days a week and more. Rest easy knowing that your pets will be well looked after by one of our expert pet carers in Norwich.

Hi there!

I'm Marcia, and I currently have one little fur ball - a tabby cat called Beanie (male). I recently lost my wonderful female yorkie called Tootsie.
With the heart ache, comes plenty of free time which I love to fill by spending time with your pets - so yes there is something in this for me too!
I am flexible, and I carry out home visits and walks at any time (subject to availability) throughout the day.
I have grown up with cats and dogs, so I'm confident and well informed about individual pets needs - no two cats or dogs are the same, and this is what I enjoy most! While I'm visiting your pet, I will take time to get to know them. I am very patient, and I let pets come to me if/when they are ready (with a little encouragement and baby talk!)
I love to walk and get out in nature, come rain or shine! I'm very vigilant and I ensure that your dog is kept on its lead at all times, so rest assured your dog will be safe with me while we are off adventuring.
I'm a reliable and caring pet lover who treats every animal like my own. I have experience with pets of all personalities, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away - here to step in when you need to step out.

Hi! I’m an 19 year old university student trying to make some extra money to help with bills. I’ve grown up having cats and they are absolutely one of my favourite animals! I would love the chance to look after all of the cats in the world if I could!

I love cuddling with cats and giving them all the attention they want! I would be happy to feed, play and give treats to the cats. I would also be happy to brush the cats if they would enjoy it! I am happy to do any other services, for the cats, that are within my ability! I will send update photos of your furbaby throughout my visits, making sure to give you that piece of mind while you are away :)

I would also be happy to water any plants or feed any fish you have if needed!

As I live in student accommodation, I will not be able to provide a daycare service in my own home. I will also not dogsit as I am not experienced in looking after dogs and I wouldn't want to give them insufficient care.

Hello! My name is Gladys, and I’m a passionate animal lover with a special soft spot for cats. I grew up surrounded by pets, and for as long as I can remember, caring for animals has been a natural part of my life.
Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for cats and dogs, which has taught me not only the joy they bring but also the importance of patience, kindness, and attentive care.
Being around animals truly makes me happy, and I take pride in creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment for them while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always make sure to give them the individual attention, affection, and care they deserve.
Whether it’s feeding, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I’m committed to treating your pets as if they were my own. You can trust that they’ll be well looked after and loved.
