Hi!

I’m Hope and I’ve had pets all my life. It started with rabbits and fish before I finally persuaded my parents to let a very determined 10-year-old have a springer spaniel. After my beloved springer passed away, I welcomed a Labrador into my life. He couldn’t be more different from my nervous, reactive (but incredibly loving) spaniel and genuinely wants to be friends with everyone he meets! Having two such different dogs gave me a great understanding of different personalities and behaviours, and since then I’ve loved getting to know every pet I’ve cared for, each with their own little quirks.

I’ve been house sitting, pet sitting and dog walking for over 15 years, caring for everything from laid-back tortoises and fish to energetic dogs and needy cats. Every pet is different, and that’s one of the things I enjoy most about what I do.

I offer a range of services, as you’ll see on my profile. Standard walks and drop-in visits are around 30 minutes, although I’m always happy to discuss longer visits if needed. If you’re booking a house sit, we’ll arrange a meet and greet beforehand so we can go through everything together and I can get to know your pets. I’m also more than happy to care for multiple pets, the more the merrier!

I like to be as flexible as possible around you and your pets, so if you’re looking for something a little different, just send me a message and we can work out what suits you best. For extra peace of mind, I’ll always make a note of your pet’s usual vet and any insurance or pet care plans before I look after them. My service area is kept local so, in the unlikely event of an emergency, I can get them to their vet quickly.
