Hello! My name is Emily, and while I didn't grow up with pets of my own, I've always loved animals. As such, I quickly became the first person friends and acquaintances (including my thesis supervisor!) would call when they needed a reliable pet sitter or dog walker. Over the years, I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience caring for both cats and dogs, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy.

I have extensive experience with cat sitting, including long-term stays, and I understand how to keep cats comfortable, stimulated, and stress-free while their owners are away. I’m also very confident with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I've frequently looked after a pair of energetic huskies, so I’m well equipped to handle even the most active dogs with patience and care.

I currently work as a contract researcher focused on environmental crime for WWF. My role is mostly remote, based in Oxford, but I travel to London regularly and am looking for short-term pet sitting opportunities in the area that allow me to occasionally visit the office during working hours if possible. I’m flexible and reliable, and I’m happy to tailor care routines to suit your pet’s specific needs. For petsitting engagements, I can help keep your pets company, take them on walks, administer medication if necessary, and can also help water plants, bring in the mail, and generally ensure that the house is safely locked and maintained. I will be at the home with the pets during all hours required, and can stay for up to 7 days.
