Hello! My name is Miles - I'm a French Literature student, but beyond my studies, my life basically orbits around animals. I grew up with cats, dogs, fish, birds (budgie, cockatiel, chickens), goats, and many, many bugs. Right now a lack of space means I can basically only keep the latter. But I do miss working with larger animals, and would love to get to know your pet! :) 

I've been in Oxford for just over 4 years now so am pretty familiar with all the usual walking routes. I have professional experience walking dogs - even pull-y ones - and housesitting birds (the dove shown in the slides above). I also have professional rehabbing experience (Faune Alfort in Paris), so am comfortable caring for animals with particular needs (medications, injuries, etc.). Just walk me through what your pet needs and I'll accomodate.

In terms of my specific services:

• Dog walks can range from 30 minutes up to an hour. I'm also happy to take more energetic pups for a 5-7k run, on or off the leash (depending on their recall).
• For home visits: I'm more than happy to hang around a little longer than just feeding time if your pet gets lonely/anxious and would appreciate some company. I'll also send photo and text updates every time I visit (if you'd like to receive these).
• I'm happy to care for basically any pet. I have professional experience with dogs, cats, and birds, but would be more than happy to look in on your reptile or invert. (I know from experience this website doesn't have an option for inverts - just DM me and we'll figure something out!)
• Because I'm a postgraduate student, my schedule is pretty flexible - I can make typical feeding times work.
• Unfortunately, I don't have a car, so can only meet requests in central Oxford! I am located near Folly Bridge and am happy to travel within a 5k radius of this location - but if it's more than a 20-min or so walk from me I will add a travel fee to cover my bus fare.
