I am a doting cat owner with three furbabies of my own - Xander, aged 9, Harry, aged 2 and Charlie, who is still a kitten. I also grew up in a multiple cat household so I've spent most of my life around cats and am very familiar with their needs.

Although I'm new to this platform, I've been cat sitting for five years now and have multiple repeat clients who come back to me because they're happy with the service I provide. 

My aim as a cat sitter is to care for your cat as I would hope for my own cats to be cared for by a sitter. Besides tending to their basic care needs according to whatever instructions you give me, what this means to me in practice is respecting your cat's individuality and following their lead. If your cat is outgoing and comfortable around new people and wants some love and attention, that's what I'll give them - lots of strokes and back scratches and playing with toys, whatever they seem to welcome. 

If your cat is shy, I will respect their boundaries and give them space to choose whether to come to me or not - this may mean gradually winning them over and being able to give them some love in your absence, or it may mean tending to their food/litter needs as quickly as possible and giving them space. You'll tell me what to expect and I'll check in with you at every visit and give you an honest account of my time with your cat.

My visits typically last 20-30 minutes, sometimes longer if your cat is particularly looking for company that day. I send daily updates with photos if I can. I will follow any instructions you give me to the best of your ability.

I am insured, responsible and ready to care for your cats. Please note I only offer cat sitting as I only have very limited experience with other animals.
