I volunteered for the RSPCA for 2 years and as a dog walker for other dog rescues before starting to provide pet services. I have my own lovely little rescue dog called Majky who has special care needs and just turned 11. I have experience with senior dogs and am happy to provide medication or special care during drop in visits. I have looked after cats from a young age, taking care of family friends' pets and find a great joy in getting to know each of their individual personalities. I have also helped care for senior cats and volunteered at rescues with cats. I am compassionate, patient and willing to go the extra mile (or several if we’re walking).

Services

Home Visits/Drop-in Care (30 mins)

Drop-in services cater to both cats and dogs, providing them with companionship, feeding, and playtime while you're away. A great alternative to dog walks for dog who have restricted exercise for medical reasons (such as post surgery) or elderly dogs who may only want a very short walk or time in the garden. For cats please note that I can change/spot clean litter trays in these sessions. I will visit at times that suit your schedule, ensuring your pets receive the attention and affection they need without the stress of being in an unfamiliar environment. Happy to provide care for multiple pets within the 30 minute booking as long as the care required can be completed within that time.

Dog Walks (30 mins)

I will collect your pet from your home and provide a 30 minute local walk. Suggestions of walking areas/routes are welcome! Please note that booking of these services is subject to a successful (FREE) meet and greet appointment to ensure we are a suitable fit for your pet's needs. I currently only allow bookings for 1 or 2 dogs per booking, this is to ensure maximum attention and safety of your pets.

Small Pet Drop-in Care (30 mins)

Quality pet care isn't just for dogs and cats and I extend my services to small pets of all kinds. I can provide feeding, fresh water, hay or bedding top-ups, enrichment time or simply a check-in to put your mind at ease. Please contact me to ask about specific care if it is not listed. Please book as a 'Home Visit' and message to confirm the pet type this booking is for. Drop-in slots are 30 minutes. Please book 2 slots next to each other if you require more time. Can provide food and water, etc for multiple pets as long as the care will be completed in half an hour.

Small Pet Enclosure Cleaning (45 mins) - Price: £24

Enclosure cleaning service for small pets - guinea pigs, hamsters, fancy mice, rats, etc. Ideal for times when you are away from home for an extended period. I allocate 45 minutes for this - if I am done with the clean in this time I am happy to spend the remaining time providing enrichment for your pet as per your instructions. Any specific cleaning instructions for your pet will be followed - eg. tools to use, cleaning sprays, leaving some original bedding behind for scent to reduce stress, etc. Please contact me to book this as it is not a default option I can provide on Pawshake.

Exotic Pet Drop-in Care (30 mins)

I can provide feeding, fresh water, temperature, humidity and lighting check ups, enrichment time or simply a check-in to put your mind at ease. While I don't offer full cage cleans for exotic animals I will be happy to spot clean the enclosure as per your request. Please contact me to ask about specific care if it is not listed. Please book as a 'Home Visit' and message to confirm the pet type this booking is for. Drop-in slots are 30 minutes. Please book 2 slots next to each other if you require more time.
