Hello! I’m Ashley, and I moved to Cardiff from Ireland two years ago. I offer reliable, loving pet care backed by a lifetime of hands-on experience with animals of all kinds.

I grew up on a farm in Ireland surrounded by dogs, cats, ducks and horses, so caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. Last year I adopted my own kitten, which only deepened my love for animal care even more.

Over the years I’ve gained experience through both personal and professional animal care roles. I volunteered with a local donkey sanctuary, the Cork Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, where I helped with feeding, grooming and socialising dogs in their care.

I also developed a strong interest in dog handling and grooming from a young age, as my mother showed Cairn Terriers and introduced me to the world of dog shows. This led me to set up and run my own dog grooming business in Ireland.

Horses have also been a big part of my life. I’ve ridden from a young age and trained a young horse that later went on to compete in dressage at national level.

With family working in animal welfare and veterinary care, I’ve always been surrounded by knowledgeable people and good advice when it comes to animal health and wellbeing.

I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pets, and I always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet needs company, playtime, feeding, grooming, or just a calm and caring presence, I’ll treat them as if they were my own.
