Dogs have been a massive part of my life for as long as I can remember. I've grown up with them and love spending time with them. I have a 7 year old Border Collie at home who I trained as a puppy, taking part in the Kennel Club training classes. As she got older I had a lot of fun teaching her agility in the park as she is a very energetic dog who needs plenty of exercise and stimulation. I have a lot of experience with dogs not only those belonging to my family but others too. I have looked after my neighbours dogs on multiple occasions - which included taking them out for walks and letting them out in the garden. I have had experience not just with dogs but also cats. Whilst my neighbour was away I would go and visit them each day and give them their meals. The services that I look to offer are dog walking and day visits to homes to feed and or play with dogs/cats. I'm available from the end of May to the start of September. I enjoy spending time with dogs and cats which is why I'd be happy to take care of your pets. I usually walk dogs for around 20-30 minutes a couple of times a day. However, this depends on the dog's specific requirements. Therefore, I can tailor walks to their needs making them longer or shorter if necessary. During walks I make sure to be aware of my surroundings such as other dogs. For dogs that are particularly nervy, I reassure them to keep them calm and praise them when they respond well. I always keep dogs on the lead unless they are allowed to be off lead in a safe environment. If wanted, I am happy to send regular updates of your pet by photos or messages to let you know how they are getting on.
