I have 30+ years experience owning and caring for dogs as a pet-owner, breeder and trainer. My personal activities with my own dogs have included: agility, obedience, gun-dog, rally obedience and fun, fun, fun. I have experience as a dog trainer, studying with the CIDBT and having done various personal training as a handler. I have qualified as a show and rally obedience judge. As a breeder I have supported all of my owners in the development and welfare of their pets for the entirety of their life and regularly received queries from owners far and wide for basic advice, including feeding and caring for their elderly pet. I had cats as a child. My sister has always had cats and I love a snuggle, respecting their unique outlook on life. 

I was a secondary English teacher, so not only have I spent a career teaching class-fuls of teenagers, I am a jack of all trades, used to adapting at a moment's notice and reliable in a crisis. I've certainly got a good sense of humour and patience a mile long! 

I love the outdoors, love any animals and love reading so I pretty much make a perfect pet servant, loving lots of walks, cuddles and/or just being with them, paying lots of attention.

I don't take pets into my own home but I am really happy to look after your pets in their own, familiar environment. Whilst I have a family and my own two Labradors, I have plenty of support at home so I will give your pet/s my undivided attention. I have used pet sitters for my own dogs and would never choose to put them into kennels again, having experienced the effects of having a calm, experienced and trusted sitter looking after their mental and physical welfare. 

I am happy to sit for any age animal, taking responsibility for any needs that they might need. There isn't a lot that I won't have experience of! Without their main humans near them, I understand the need to follow their routines and I am also happy to spend some time with basic training should that be wanted.

I don't charge more for larger numbers of animals, so long as they are the animals that would normally live in your home. I am also happy to sit for un-neutered animals.
