I have always loved animals since a young age, often spending hours researching species to find out all I could about them!  I have a clear DBS check and I have studied at university for the past three years and have received a first in both an FdSc in Animal Behavioural Science and Welfare and a BSc (Hons) in Animal Management. My degrees have allowed me to gain a unique understanding of the care required for many different kinds of animals.

I have a dog of my own who is 11 years old now and I have always been involved in his training and care.  I often care for my neighbours' dog and cat, doing drop in visits to feed and play with them, as well as dog walking.  Additionally, I have been pet sitting for people via apps for two years now and have received many good reviews for both drop in visits for dogs and cats, and dog walking visits too.  Furthermore, I have experience with various other animals including hamsters (having owned 7 throughout my life), guinea pigs, rabbits, and even tortoises!

I have a flexible schedule allowing visits whenever you need, and my ability to travel to your homes allows your animals to stay where they are most comfortable.  I don't shy away from tasks and I am willing to take on more senior animals, including giving oral medication if needed, or younger animals, providing training and play as necessary!  Additionally, I will always communicate with you during visits providing updates and photos of your animal(s) so you know that everything is going well.  I also try to meet all owners prior to my first visit to allow me to gather details about your pet so that I can provide care tailored to individual animals.  This helps me to determine what you pet needs including walk durations, specific feeds, or any management required for multiple animals.  This way your pet(s) get the care they need.
