Reliable Dog Sitting You Can Trust

About Libby sophia
I’m currently studying an HND in Animal Studies and have previously completed a Level 3 Animal Studies course. I have gained plenty of hands-on experience working with animals through work placements at doggy day cares, as well as experience working with animals on farms.
Through my studies and practical experience, I have developed a good understanding of animal behaviour, welfare, handling and general care. Working in doggy day cares has given me experience caring for multiple dogs, understanding their different personalities and making sure they are comfortable, safe and well supervised. I have also had the opportunity to work with dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments.
My experience on farms has helped me become confident around a variety of animals and taught me the importance of patience, responsibility and following appropriate care routines. I understand that every dog is different and may have their own routines, preferences and needs, so I’m happy to follow your instructions to make sure your dog receives familiar and consistent care.
I’m particularly passionate about providing dogs with plenty of attention, companionship, exercise and mental stimulation. I’m responsible, patient and caring, and I take animal welfare seriously. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playing, relaxing at home or simply having someone around for company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for.
I know how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, so I aim to provide reliable and trustworthy service while keeping you updated about how your dog is doing. My animal studies background and practical experience give me a strong foundation, and I’m always keen to learn more about each individual dog and their needs.
I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. For dog walks, I offer 30-minute or 1-hour walks depending on your dog’s age, energy level, routine and individual needs. I’ll initially keep walks around the home area while we build trust, and once your dog is comfortable with me, we can explore suitable local parks, fields and other dog-friendly areas.
For home sitting, I can spend time with your pet in their own home, where they can stay in a familiar and comfortable environment. During a sitting visit, I can provide feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, toilet breaks, walks and general care according to your pet’s usual routine. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you leave regarding feeding times, exercise, medication or other care needs.
For cats, I take a calm and patient approach, as I understand that cats can be more independent and may need time to become comfortable with a new person. I’ll let the cat approach me at their own pace rather than forcing interaction. I can provide fresh food and water, clean litter trays, playtime and companionship, while respecting their personal space if they prefer to relax on their own.
I don’t want pets to be left alone for long periods. The exact amount of time will depend on the individual pet, their age, needs and normal routine. I’ll discuss this with you beforehand so we can agree on a suitable arrangement and make sure your pet receives the attention and care they need throughout the sitting.
