Hey there, Its Sophia :)

I have a lot of experience caring for animals, especially dogs and cats, thanks to 18 months of volunteering at an animal sanctuary in Spain. I worked closely with a variety of animals, including 19 cats and 9 dogs, handling everything from walking, feeding, bathing, medicating and grooming to general health checks. Your pet will definitely be in good hands with me!

Growing up, we always had family pets - hamsters, two black cats, a Belgian shepherd, a Siberian husky, fish, and rabbits. I’m a responsible and capable person who believes every animal deserves just the right amount of love or space. I understand that some pets need just a little check-in, while others crave all the cuddles. I’m happy to adapt to whatever your pet needs.

One of my favorite parts of volunteering at the sanctuary was dog walking, which I did twice, sometimes three times a day. I really enjoy walking and find it rewarding, especially when I can take a dog or two along with me. I’ve handled different breeds of dogs, from small to large and timid to energetic, including a disabled dog that needed daily baths and bandaging.

Since returning to the UK, I’ve been requested by a friend to house sit her two cats when she’s away. I really enjoy this time with them, especially since I don’t have pets of my own yet. I truly believe a house isn’t complete without a furry family member, so I understand how important it is for them to receive the attention and care they deserve.
