Hi! I’m Berre, a lifelong animal lover who genuinely feels happiest when I’m around animals. 🐾

I grew up surrounded by pets and have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. I cared for a German Shepherd for 13 years, so I’m very comfortable with larger dogs and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. For the last three years, I’ve also had a Golden Retriever as a very important part of my everyday life. Through him, I’ve had the chance to spend a lot of time with other dogs and regularly help with pet sitting, including looking after multiple dogs at the same time.

I’ve also had experience with rescue and stray dogs and cats. My family cat is a rescue cat, and over the years I’ve learned that some animals need a little more patience, reassurance and time to trust someone new. I’ve also spent plenty of time with older dogs, so I’m happy to adapt to slower walks, different routines and any extra care they may need.

I recently moved from London to Manchester and currently live alone in a cosy, calm and pet-friendly home in Salford Quays. I work from home with flexible hours, which means your pet will have company throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy having animals around, so they can expect plenty of attention, affection and cuddles!

For dogs who enjoy going outside, I’m lucky to live right by the Salford Quays canals and surrounding walking routes. I’m happy to provide at least 30–60 minutes of walking, depending on your dog’s age, energy level and normal routine, and I can adjust this for older or lower-energy dogs.

I’m very flexible with boarding and can accommodate both short and longer stays, including overnight boarding. There’s no strict limit on how many days your pet can stay, and I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking, sleeping and medication routines as closely as possible.

After moving, I’m not quite ready to have a pet of my own just yet, but I really don’t want to be without animals in my life. This is one of the reasons I love pet sitting so much. I’ll give your pet a warm, safe and loving home where they can feel comfortable and cared for — and I’ll look after them as if they were my own. ❤️
