Hi, I'm Portia, a 30-year-old animal lover and mum to a cheeky little sausage dog, Sasha. I work full-time as a Marketing & Partnerships Manager and have a flexible work-from-home schedule of 2/3 days a week.

Ever since I was little, I’ve been around animals; my cat Tiger Lily was my best friend and used to sleep on my bed every night. When I met my partner 9 years ago, I was introduced to the world of dogs, building an instant bond with his family dogs. Three years ago, we finally picked up our little Sasha, the sausage dog. She’s a sociable little sausage who loves cuddles, fetch, and running around with other dogs.

Since we got Sasha, we have been looking after our friends’ dogs as favors, and I’ve loved having them here so much that I decided to open up my home to more furry friends. I have experience caring for many different dog breeds, including Dachshunds, Cockapoos, Cocker Spaniels, Yorkshire Terriers, and Border Collies, of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs.

I live in an apartment building surrounded by lots of grass, including a fenced-off area. I’m only a 5-minute walk from Ordsall Park and the canals surrounding Salford Quays, offering plenty of options for dog-friendly walks and outdoor space.

In our home, we have everything your dog will need to feel comfortable and right at home, including toys, licky mats, snuffle mats, treat puzzles, blankets, and grooming brushes. We happily allow dogs onto our sofa and to sleep on our bed at night, our little Sasha loves a cuddle in bed! To keep your mind at ease, we also have a dog camera to check on them if we need to leave them home alone at any point.
