Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve been caring for pets since my early 20s, I’m now 44, and over the years I’ve looked after everything from playful puppies to senior dogs, independent cats to even the occasional horse. Friends and family often ask me to care for their pets while they’re away, and I’ve had the joy of spending many afternoons walking, feeding, cuddling, and keeping them company. Until recently, I had my own much-loved cat, Moo Moo, who was part of our lives for eight years. With her passing, we’re not quite ready to have another pet of our own just yet, but I’d love nothing more than to give your fur baby the care and attention they need while you’re away. I’m self-employed with a flexible schedule, so I can offer drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays depending on what suits your pet best. I’m calm, reliable, and confident in following routines, giving medication, and working with different temperaments. I’m happy to care for vaccinated pets in your home, and I always treat a home with the same respect I would my own. I know every pet is different, so I’ll take the time to understand what works best for them.
