Hello, I’m Jane, an experienced and reliable pet and house sitter originally from Cornwall, UK- willing to travel into Devon too. I have always had a deep love for animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them, spending time outdoors, and creating a calm and safe environment where pets can feel relaxed and happy whilst their owners are away.

My motivation for pet sitting comes from how much joy animals bring into my life. I understand how important it is for owners to feel their pets are being cared for by someone trustworthy, attentive and kind. I love building connections with animals, learning their personalities and routines, and making sure they feel comfortable and well looked after.

I am an active person and love long walks in nature, beach walks and being outdoors, so dogs in my care would receive plenty of exercise, stimulation and companionship. I also work part time online, which means I am around for much of the day and pets are not left alone for long periods. I enjoy calm evenings at home and creating a peaceful environment for animals to settle into.

I have previous experience caring for dogs, cats and homes through live-in pet sitting, including feeding, walking, companionship, maintaining routines and caring for homes responsibly. I am clean, tidy, respectful and non-smoking, and I always treat both pets and homes with great care.

Alongside pet sitting, I also work as a yoga teacher and wellbeing facilitator, and people often describe me as calm, grounded and dependable. I understand how important communication is whilst owners are away, so I am happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

In the event of any emergency, I would stay calm, act responsibly and contact both the owner and a local vet immediately if needed. Your pet’s wellbeing and safety would always be my highest priority.

I only sit pets in your own home, not at my home.
