I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember and genuinely can't imagine a home without pets. I grew up in South Africa, where we had plenty of space and were lucky enough to have dogs, cats, horses, parrots, rats, fish, rabbits, tortoises, chickens - you name it. Being surrounded by so many different animals has given me experience caring for pets with a wide range of personalities, routines and needs. Today, we have one wonderful dog, a three-legged rescue cat and a horse, so animals are still a huge part of my everyday life.

I'm confident with all aspects of day to day pet care, from feeding, grooming and cleaning up after them to sticking to established routines, administering medication etc. My sister is a veterinary nurse, and although she's the professional, I've learned a great deal from her over the years about animal health and behaviour.

I'm mainly looking for house and pet sitting opportunities and am happy to consider both short and long term stays. I work as a hybrid paralegal with plenty of flexibility to work from home, meaning your pets will have lots of company throughout the day. I'm also studying towards my legal qualifications, so I enjoy the peaceful environment of a home where I can focus while keeping pets company. It simply doesn't feel the same without animals around.

I love starting the day with an early morning walk and ending it with a long evening stroll, so energetic pets are more than welcome. Whether your pet enjoys the outdoors, playtime in the garden, quiet companionship or plenty of cuddles, I'll make sure they feel cared for while you're away. I'll also happily keep you updated with as many photos and updates as you wish.
