The best part of looking after an animal is finding out what they like to do, and I enjoy giving them the attention they deserve and finding out wht they like to do - playing games or not, grooming them if they like that, how much sleep they like and when - whatever makes them most happy and at ease.  

I have experience of looking after cats and dogs, small mammals such as gerbils, hamsters and guinea pigs, tortoises, tadpoles, aquarium fish, a corn snake, giant african land snails and stick insects, and I am quite good at watering plants if necessary.

I have owned a succession of rescue cats (although I dont have any pets now) and they all had different but endearing personalities, and I have looked after dogs who like to play fetch with a tennis ball, (and maybe find a few more underneath hedges) and on the other hand, dogs who had no interest in any ball or stick game, but just enjoyed being out and about and then sleeping in their basket.

I have previously worked in a boarding kennels and cattery, and although some dogs and cats are fine in a well run kennels, I think most are less stressed in a home envirnoment, if that is what they are used to. I would like to provide that for your pet.
