Hi, I’m Danni located in Chelmsford, the owner of my own pet-sitting business, PawsitiveSteps. I have over 4 years of experience caring for pets and absolutely love working with animals.

I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I treat every animal as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, happy and loved while in my care.

I have experience caring for dogs of different breeds, ages and personalities, as well as other pets. I’m confident following individual routines, including feeding, walks, playtime and providing plenty of attention and companionship.

When pets stay with me, I aim to keep their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes their usual feeding times, walks, toilet breaks, bedtime routine, playtime and any other requirements they may have. I’m happy to follow owners’ individual instructions so your pet can settle in and feel at home.

Walks are typically 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s age, breed, energy levels and usual routine. I’m happy to adapt the length and pace to suit each individual dog

Providing a safe environment is extremely important to me. Pets are carefully supervised, and I make sure my home is secure and suitable for the animals staying with me. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, behaviour and needs before their stay, including any dietary requirements, medication or things they may be nervous around.

Your pets will be left for a maximum of 4 hours a day if at all during their boarding. If there was to be an emergency the owner would be my first point of contact and if advised any contact details provide. If your fur babies requires walking it will be in my local beautiful peaceful field where my own dogs love to have a run around.

Through PawsitiveSteps, I offer house boarding and dog walking, and I’m happy to follow any specific instructions your pet may have. I can also provide regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is being well looked after.
