My experience

With over 5 years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, I'm passionate about providing thoughtful, tailored care to every pet I meet. I've grown up surrounded by animals, especially cats, and my deep love for both dogs and cats shines through in everything I do. I don't offer training services, but I pride myself on offering bespoke, one on one care that suits each pet's unique needs, routine, and quirks. Pet sitting is not just a side job for me, it's my full time commitment and the heart of my business, Els Petsitting. I previously had a Rover account with happy clients and wagging tails, but due to technical issues, l've started fresh here. I bring warmth, reliability, and genuine care to every booking, and I can't wait to meet your furry family member!

Past 6 months

l've recently returned from 6 months of travelling. During my time away, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at an animal sanctuary in West Java, working closely with a range of wild animals. I learnt so much about animal behaviour, conservation, observation, and enrichment — valuable experience that has deepened my understanding of animal care. I'm excited to bring everything l've learnt into my pet sitting work, ensuring every pet I care for feels safe, stimulated, and loved.

Availability

I offer pet care services every day of the week, with availability typically between 9am and 7pm.

While I work full time Monday to Sunday, I'm flexible and happy to adjust timings to suit your pet's routine, just let me know what works best for you! Whether you need drop-ins, walks, or sitting services, I'll do my best to accommodate your preferred times, just let me know in advance and I'll try to work around you and your pet's routine.

Safety & Environment

Your pet's safety, comfort, and wellbeing are my top priorities. My home is a semi-detached property with a secure, fully fenced medium-sized garden that includes both grass and patio areas, perfect for playtime or relaxing in the sun. Inside, I use baby gates to manage space and keep things calm when needed. I also provide one large dog crate, comfy blankets, and a variety of toys to help your pup feel right at home.

Dogs are welcome on the furniture, bed, and upstairs, but l'm happy to follow whatever rules your dog is used to, I always aim to match your pet's routine as closely as possible. I do offer treats, but as I can't cater to all dietary needs, 1 kindly ask that you bring your own if your pet has specific requirements.

I share my home with two friendly cats who are well versed in giving dogs their space. During the summer, they mostly stay outside, and in colder months they settle quietly in the spare bedroom (which remains closed off). If I'm hosting dogs from different households, they will only be boarded together if they're social, friendly, and well matched. If not, l use gates inside the home and in the garden to keep dogs comfortably and safely separated.

Your pet will be cared for in a warm, calm, and secure environment where their needs always come first.

I provide a range of personalised pet care services, including:

Dog Walking – Solo walks or mixed group walks depending on your dog’s needs and temperament.

Drop-In Visits – Perfect for feeding, cuddles, toilet breaks or just some company while you’re out – available for dogs, cats, and even smaller pets like rabbits or hamsters.

Doggy Day Care – A fun, safe and stimulating environment for your dog to spend the day.

Overnight Boarding – Home-from-home boarding for your dog while you’re away, with the option of solo or mixed care (with dogs from other homes).

Each service is tailored to your pet’s routine, comfort, and personality.

Before any booking, it's essential for me to understand your dog's routine, temperament, and any specific needs. This includes their feeding schedule, medical history, exercise requirements, social behaviours, and how they respond to other animals and new environments. l also ask about any anxieties, triggers, or behaviours to be mindful of, so I can provide the most comfortable and consistent care possible, tailored to your dog's individual personality.
