Hi, I’m Laura, a cat lover based in Shoreham and the face behind Fuss & Purr Cat Care. I offer friendly, reliable home visits for your cats while you’re away, covering Shoreham and Southwick.

I can visit up to twice a day, with each visit lasting around 20 minutes (longer visits can be discussed if needed). During each visit, I will provide fresh food and clean water, clean the litter tray, and make sure your cat is comfortable and content.

I believe it’s really important that cats don’t just get their basic care, but also attention and companionship. I’ll always spend time giving your cat plenty of fuss, play, and reassurance so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away.

I live with my husband, our two children, and our two much-loved cats, Oreo and Hazel. As a family, we’re all huge animal lovers, and I understand how important it is to leave your pets in safe, caring hands.

I’ve also cared for cats through other pet-sitting platforms and have received 14 five-star reviews, which reflects how much I genuinely care about the pets I look after and the service I provide.

Alongside caring for your cat, I’m happy to help with small household jobs to give you extra peace of mind. This includes bringing in post or deliveries, watering plants, opening or closing curtains, switching lights on and off, and putting the bins out.

I’m also happy to follow specific instructions, including adding medication to food or water if required.

I work part-time as a primary school teacher, so I’m responsible, organised, and naturally nurturing—qualities that help me provide calm and attentive care.

While you’re away, I’ll send daily updates with photos so you can relax knowing your cat is happy, well looked after, and getting lots of attention.
