I do sits walks and drop ins. With 16 years experience I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including taking care of family dogs in London and walking neighbours dogs. In Wales I have done voluntary work which led to paid work at a dog kennel involving walking dogs and cleaning kennels.

I have been walking and sitting for peoples dogs on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since joining a friend in Wales for her sits and then a friend from church in Cornwall asked me to dog sit, I then used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 different successful sits of which a few have been asked back. This has given me more opportunity to understand how to take care of people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. I am happy to sit for more than one pet.

Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like family. They will have play time and rest time (depending on their personality). I always stick to the rules that you have set for them, and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. I am a true dog lover and friend so I don't mind a cuddly dog or a more nervous dog either way I will usually have them warming up to me in no time.

If I am sitting I would take them out for a walk in local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as agreed with you (usually up to an hour each walk). If I am doing a longer sit then they may be able to go off lead depending on the dogs behaviour. Some owners ask the dogs to go off lead but some have difficulty with their recall when first meeting, in which case I prefer to keep them on the lead. I can sit no longer than 2 weeks at a time.

I have handled a variety of breeds from small Jack Russell's to Great Danes and recent Staffordshire Bull Terrier and a Bulldog/Border Collie mix, please let me know what your dog is like with other dogs particular those smaller to them, prior to meeting, as sometimes it is not made clear. I like to sit or walk different breeds at any age so don't feel you can't enquire because of any of these reasons.

I will need up to date vet details and emergency contacts as this is essential information and I won't be able to do a sit without it. This is useful for contacting vets if there is a concern in which case I would attend or call your vets if need be.

Family cats and cat sitting has taught me to love the unique way of cats. I love to make sure they are looked after and have enough attention depending on their preferences! I have 2 cats of my own currently.

Therefore I am unable to provide boarding and will not usually walk dogs in my area unless we are in the same area!

As a student I am currently on summer break so will be able to give you pet lots of attention and not leave them alone for more than an hour. When I'm studying I will be able to study while sitting as I study from home. I will also be available to contact during a sit anytime during the day.

Your dogs and cats will be in safe hands with me.
