As a lifelong animal lover, there’s nothing that makes me happier than spending my days caring for animals and giving them the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, friendly, and reliable dog walker or pet sitter in the Carlyon Bay and St Austell area, I’d love to meet you and your furry best friend.

Animals have always been at the heart of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, and horses, so understanding and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’ve always had a special connection with them and genuinely believe they can sense when they’re with someone who truly loves and understands them. For example, I'm experienced with nervous dogs and have found that with a bit of love and encouragement it is amazing how much they can come out of their shell once that trust and relationship is built up.

One of my proudest experiences was running a busy riding stables every Saturday, where I was responsible for the care and welfare of 30 horses. From making sure they were healthy and happy to preparing them for their lessons, I learned the importance of responsibility, patience, and giving every animal the individual care they deserve. I also learnt how to be efficient in emergency's by staying calm and collected while handling every situation with caution and care.

Today, I have three beautiful Cocker Spaniels who are a huge part of my family. I’ve trained each of them as gun dogs, giving me valuable experience in understanding dog behaviour, building trust, and using positive, consistent training. Every dog is different, and I love getting to know their unique personalities, whether they’re energetic adventurers or gentle souls who simply enjoy a slower stroll.

I’m based in Carlyon Bay, St Austell, and offer fun, enriching dog walks around our beautiful local beaches, fields, woodland paths, and countryside. While I don’t drive, I’m more than happy to walk to collect dogs within the local area, ensuring they still enjoy plenty of exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation. Walks will last an hour and will be individual ensuring each dog has my full attention and affection. I cannot administer medications however I can ensure your dogs are well looked after and cared for properly. My schedule is flexible, when I'm not house sitting I do 2 walks a day with individual dogs ensuring they each get my full attention. Your furry friends won't be left alone at any point while in my care and I will send frequent videos and pictures of your dogs while out enjoying the scenery so you know they are safe and can be assured they are having the best care possible.

Before walks I will always get a full debrief of the dog/dogs I am walking I.e. behaviour, how they are around other dogs, whether they can go off lead, how their recall is etc. this ensures that should any unexpected situation happen I know how the dog is going to react and how to safely deal with the situation to ensure safety for everyone involved. I will work on building a bond with your dog so they are comfortable with me being their safety net when out walking around. With booking, if I become fully booked I will review my schedule to see if I can fit that customer in anywhere if not then I will contact them if their is a cancellation or give them contacts to other dog sitters in the local area who I am friends with and trust.

I also offer pet sitting in your own home, so your pets can stay relaxed and comfortable in familiar surroundings while you’re away. For pet sitting, I’m happy to travel a little further around the Carlyon Bay and St Austell area.

When your pet is with me, they’ll receive plenty of love, patience, care, and attention—as if they were one of my own. Their happiness, safety, and wellbeing will always come first.
