I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including 2 dogs of my own plus cats, small pets, and even friends' and neighbours' dogs and cats — so I’m comfortable caring for many different breeds, sizes, and temperaments.

🐾 Practical experience: At home, I help daily with feeding, fresh water, grooming, teeth brushing, nail trimming, cleaning beds/litter, and sticking to strict routines. I’ve also cared for family friends' dogs and cats while they were away — following their specific feeding times, medication instructions, and exercise rules exactly.

🧠 Handling behaviours: I stay calm and patient — great with nervous, shy, or energetic pets. For excited or pullers-on-lead, I walk slowly, use a calm voice, and reward good behaviour. If a pet seems anxious, I give them space and let them come to me rather than forcing interaction.

🚶 Walks & visits: Walks are usually 30–45 minutes — plenty of sniff time, always on lead unless told otherwise, and I adjust pace to match their energy. During home visits, I follow a clear routine: say hello → check food/water → feed if needed → play/love → clean up → update you — so nothing gets missed.

📋 My limits: I care for maximum 2 pets at a time so every animal gets my full attention — I never rush or cut time short.

💬 Updates: I’ll send you photos and messages during every visit or walk so you know exactly what your pet is up to — you’ll never be left wondering!

🆘 Emergencies: I stay calm, contact you immediately, and follow your instructions exactly. I keep emergency numbers handy and know to keep pets safe until help arrives.
