I have been working in the animal industry for over 10 years, working with both domestic and exotic species. This included training sea lions, caring for many species in a zoo and working with dogs. I currently work evenings in an emergency veterinary practise as an animal care assistant while running my own dog walking/pet sitting business during the day. 

I adore working with all animals, giving them lots of fuss and cuddles. Happy to do any cleaning out if needed, insured, dbs checked and have canine first aid accreditation.

I've always had an interest in animals which led me to volunteering in a doggy daycare at 18. Following that, I embarked on a degree in animal behaviour and welfare, which massively increased my knowledge and experiences with many different species of animals. I'm happy with cats, dogs, small furries, reptiles, invertebrates and birds. Much of my experience in this was learned from my work as a zoo keeper. As a result, I have more specialised knowledge about many of these animals. 

I started off dog walking for a friend during covid, and it grew from there! I am happy to work with friendly or more unsure dogs. Recall isn't an issue as I have both 3m and 15m long lines for walks. With your permission, I can practise recall and other behaviours during walks.
