Hi, I’m Gemma! 🐾

For the past five years, I’ve worked as an animal care assistant with the RSPCA, following several years as a veterinary care assistant. While I work with all kinds of dogs in the kennels, my true specialty is supporting animals with behavioral challenges. I have extensive experience managing a multitude of behavioral needs, with a particular focus on anxiety and reactivity.

I’ve been fortunate enough to work closely alongside professional behaviorists, allowing me to continually expand my knowledge of positive reinforcement training techniques. To further this passion, I am currently studying for my Level 5 Diploma for Canine Behaviour Practitioners to become a fully qualified practitioner.

I live with my partner Alex and together we offer home boarding. We live in a spacious one bedroom flat surrounded by green spaces, where we prioritize plenty of outdoor time, including toilet breaks every 3–4 hours.

To ensure your dog receives dedicated, one on one attention and a tailored exercise plan, we only host one family's pets at a time. As an active couple who loves long walks and outdoor adventures, your dog truly becomes part of our family during their stay.

If your dog prefers their own home comforts or requires access to a private garden, we also offer house sitting services. Please note that this service is exclusive to the Taunton area.
