Hi, I’m Paul. I’m a friendly, reliable and genuine animal lover who really enjoys spending time with pets and getting to know their individual personalities. I understand how important it is to know that your pets are happy, safe and being properly cared for while you’re away.

I’ve been around animals throughout my life and I’m confident, patient and comfortable caring for them. I particularly enjoy dogs and love getting outdoors for walks, whether that’s a quick local stroll or a longer walk for dogs with plenty of energy. I’m equally happy looking after cats and other household pets, including feeding, playtime, company and, of course, plenty of fuss if they want it!

I can offer dog walking, drop-in visits, pet sitting and house sitting. Walks can be tailored to your dog’s normal routine and energy levels, while home visits can include feeding, fresh water, play, toilet breaks, medication where straightforward and agreed in advance, and generally making sure everything is as you left it.

For house sitting, I’m happy to stay in your home so your pets can remain somewhere familiar and comfortable. I’ll follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping routines as closely as possible and can also take care of simple things such as bringing in post, watering plants and keeping the house occupied while you’re away.

I’m responsible, respectful of other people’s homes and take the trust involved in looking after someone’s pet seriously. I’m also happy to meet beforehand so you can introduce me to your pets, explain their routine and make sure everyone feels comfortable before you book.

Every animal is different, so just let me know about their personality, routines and any particular needs or quirks. My aim is simple: for you to be able to go away knowing your pets are safe, relaxed, well cared for and getting plenty of attention.

My partner and I have looked after four different dogs regularly in our local area for the last three years. I always had pet dogs since the day I was born until 10 years ago when I lost my last dog. I have owned horses in the past and had various other pets. I currently have no pets.

I would be happy to administer oral medication.
