I’m a caring, reliable, and attentive animal lover who genuinely enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality and needs. I believe dogs respond best when they feel safe, understood, and given consistency, patience, and positive guidance during walks and care sessions.

To gain experience with different breeds and temperaments, I’ve volunteered as a dog walker while learning more about canine behaviour and communication. Growing up with a West Highland Terrier gave me a lifelong love of dogs, and over the years I’ve also cared for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and hamsters.

I currently walk dogs regularly, including energetic and strong breeds such as Labradors. Through consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, I focus on improving lead behaviour, confidence, and overall trust. I understand that every dog is different, so I always adapt to their personality, routine, and energy level.

Typical walks usually last between 1 to 3 hour depending on the dog’s age, fitness, and needs. During walks, I make sure dogs receive plenty of exercise, stimulation, water breaks if needed, and positive interaction in a safe environment. I’m also happy to provide shorter visits for feeding, companionship, toilet breaks, and playtime.

I understand some dogs can be nervous or reactive, so I always stay calm, patient, and aware of surroundings while giving dogs space and reassurance when needed. Safety is very important to me, and I always follow owners’ instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medication, and emergency contact details.

Before moving into animal care, I worked as a support worker, which helped me develop responsibility, patience, awareness, and a calm approach in different situations. I’m now focusing more of my time on pet care because working with animals is something I genuinely enjoy and find rewarding.

For the safety and wellbeing of all pets, I only accept vaccinated animals into my home.
