My name is Claire and i have had experience with animals/pets from a very early age. I adore animals and go above and beyond to care for them and meet their needs. I have had so many pets over my life such as dogs, cats , hamsters, terrapins,budgie, Canary, rabbits and even a pet duck. we as a family run a small hedgehog rescue too, caring for sick and injured hedgehogs, rehabilitating them with the aim of releasing them back to the wild. we are experienced at giving medication, injectable and oral medication so if you have a pet with extra medical needs this is not a problem for us. our elderly dog , Denver had diabetes and we had to monitor his blood and inject him daily with insulin.

we rescue elderly dogs as they often struggle to find a forever home. we have a partcular affinity with staffordshire bull terriers. They are a misunderstood breed and are so sweet with lovely temperaments. if you have a pet with additional needs we will take this on board and accomodate accordingly. Every pet is different and we strive to take individual needs into account. we currently have a rescue dog called louis, he is a sweet boy but has anxiety cannot be left for long. we understand how to interact and soothe dogs who have anxiety and calm them. we distract them with fun play activities and toys and know when they need some calm time and rest. Body language is key and after years of experience we know how to assess this.

we are happy to provide care for a variety of pets. and individual requirments. can come to your home to feed , play and provide lots of love, care and attention. Or to just give them some company while you are busy. we can provide dog walks too as often as needed up to half an hour at a time or an hour for those more energetic dogs. we are very flexible. I work in a school Part time so i have an enhanced Dbs check for extra peace of mind. we work together as a family so there is always someone available for multiple bookings.We will treat your pets like they are our own while you relax, enjoy your holiday or catch up on work. We can also water plants while we are there and put out bins too.

For extra peace of mind we will provide lots of pictures so you can see your fur baby is having the best time And receiving the greatest care. we can meet first so we can discuss any additional requirments your pet needs. Also if there are any situations that your fur baby needs to avoid to keep them calm. Certain situations can be triggering for some so we will do everything we can to avoid this so they have a wonderful experience.
