Hi, I'm Katja! I'm 32, originally from Minnesota and am now living in South London with my partner. I'm an actor and ended up in the UK to go to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland but made the move to London a few years ago. I have had a dog in my life since the day I was born and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Animals have always been a huge part of my life from dogs and cats to horses, and one sweet rabbit along the way. I’m very passionate about making sure our pets have the best life possible and are comfortable, safe, and happy even when their owners are away. 

All of mine and my families dogs have been rescues so I am familiar with dogs of varying temperaments as well as all ages. I have helped care for my parents’ dog, Jimmy, during his senior years before he passed away, and I rescued my dog, Hamlet, when he was 9 weeks old and saw him through the puppy stages. Hamlet unfortunately was not made for busy loud London and is now living his best suburban Midwestern life with my mom in Minnesota where he was able to give Jimmy a renewed zest for life in his final years and help my mom through the grief of losing him. Leaving me free to provide you with pet care when you need it and give your pets an extra dose of love and cuddles!

I currently have full flexibility with my schedule and can provide the care that you need. I am a big proponent for following pets schedules and routines and am of course dedicated to following all instructions you lay out. I typically do 2-3 walks a day depending on what your dog needs, as well as adding some other enrichment activities in the home such as training or mental enrichment activities. Feeding and any medications will always be followed carefully by the instructions provided. I am attentive both inside the home to what your pet is up to as well as outside the home to not only your pet but the environment we are in to keep them safe. I have experience with a reactive dog so I am familiar with having to not only watching them but also catching anything going on around us before it could be a problem and I respond quickly to any emergencies.

I will provide you with plenty of updates and photos of my time with your bff! I understand the anxiety that can come with trusting your pet to someone else and I am committed to doing everything I can to put your mind at ease and make sure your furry friend has the best time! 🐾
