Hello, I’m James – a qualified feline behaviourist with an Advanced Diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour (Feline). I provide a professional cat sitting service grounded in behavioural expertise.

I specialise in caring for sensitive, anxious, or easily unsettled cats, and understand how disruptive a change in routine can be when owners are away. My focus is on maintaining a calm, familiar environment so your cat feels safe and secure in their own home until you return.

Every aspect of my care is tailored and cat-led – from respecting boundaries to supporting emotional wellbeing – offering a level of understanding beyond standard pet sitting.

In addition to my qualifications, I have significant experience in taking care of cats. I run a successful feline behaviourist consultancy business, working with many clients' cats who have a range of behavioural needs. I also have two adopted cats, who I have helped to bring out of their shells. They have gone from shy nervous cats to confident troublemakers (be careful what you wish for!) 

As a cat owner, I understand how it feels to leave your cats for any period of time, and I strive to bring both my professional expertise and empathy as a cat lover to all interactions with your feline family members while you're away. 

I also offer dog walking, though feline care remains my specialist focus.
