Hi! I am Sofia, a current medical student who loves pets! I have always had cats, however I genuinely love all animals. For me, pets are so important in life as they really do become family. I love seeing animals be happy which lead me to volunteer at an animal rescue charity where I helped look after rescue cats. This opportunity meant that I met my current cat Lacey who was very traumatised form her last family, and by taking my time with her we grew a very special bond which meant I couldn't leave her behind! I also have experience in looking after family's and friends' dogs as I also love dogs too! Whenever I meet a new pet, I am patient and always let them approach me first as I don't want to scare them or appear as a threat to them. I am a very active person as I am a high level gymnast so I love taking dogs of any size out for walks, and playing with both cats and dogs. I can walk dogs from as little as a 15 minutre walk to an hour walk, 2-3 times a day as I love being outdoors and I like to wake up early so I don't mind having to do early morning walks. With regard to house stays, you can expect me to feed your pet whenever you usually do, play with and/or walk your pet, give them any medication and sort out any mess thay make. I would only ever leave the pets alone at home for a maximum of 3-4 hours if I am at training, however I will always prioritise the animals. In the case of an emergency I would contact you (the owner) immediately and take your pet to the nearest vet if you consent to do so. I usually do longer house sits, especially if I am travelling further to do so. I look forward to looking after your pets!
