I am just about to complete my Level 3 Animal Management course, where I have gained hands-on experience working with a wide variety of animals and learning about their care, behaviour, and welfare. As part of the course, I completed weekly work placements over the last two years. My first placement was at a dog daycare, where I helped care for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. My second placement was at a small zoo, which gave me further experience with different animals.

I also have two guinea pigs at home and they have great personalities and are lots of fun. For the past two years, I have regularly walked a family friend’s Border Collie and built a strong bond with her. This has helped me gain experience with energetic dogs and understand how important exercise and stimulation are for their wellbeing. 

I am friendly, reliable, and passionate about working with animals so I am now looking to start a pet sitting and walking service. I typically walk dogs for around an hour, but this can be varied to your requirements. I am happy to feed animals as requested. I am also able to send photo updates during visits. I always aim to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and happy while in my care. I am available, Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
