I started Happy Cats of Wellington because I truly love cats and understand how important it is for them to feel safe and relaxed in their own home. As a qualified nurse and health visitor, caring for others has always been at the heart of what I do, and this naturally extends to the way I look after animals. My motivation for pet sitting comes from wanting to give owners real peace of mind, knowing their cats are being cared for with kindness, patience, and attention.

I began by caring for cats belonging to family and friends, which gave me experience with a range of personalities — from playful and curious to shy and independent. I am confident with feeding, providing fresh water, litter care, and, of course, spending time giving each cat the attention they enjoy (whether that is playtime or simply quiet company).

My service focuses on home visits, keeping cats comfortable in familiar surroundings. Each standard visit is 30 minutes long, during which I will feed your cat, refresh water, clean litter trays, and provide plenty of fuss and attention.

Because cats can be nervous, I offer a free introductory visit the week before while you are home. This allows me to meet your cat and discuss their individual needs, ensuring they feel as comfortable as possible.

While you are away, you will receive updates with stories and photos so you can be confident that your cats are being well cared for and happy.

I am fully insured and DBS checked, offering peace of mind when I am looking after your cats. I am also confident in taking cats to the vet should they need it in emergency situations; of course, you would always be fully informed.

In terms of travel, I am happy to drive up to 10 miles from my home in Wellington. Beyond this, a small mileage fee may apply.

I am also able to offer additional small services while you are away, such as plant watering, light cleaning, rubbish and recycling duties, or other tasks as required.
