About tracey

Hi ,my name is Tracey. I'm a self employed pet sitter. I have lived in london ,mainly Battersea all my life.I currently do walking in Battersea, Wandsworth and Clapham.

My own love of animals has been life long, growing up with not just domestic pets but also ducks, geese and horses. Most children were met at the school gates by the family dog , i was lucky enough to have an eccentric aunt who would meet ,me with a goat and tup.

My work experience began working at with the R.S.P.C.A at 17 years old and i have to work within the sector whether it be paid or volunteer in various establishments from domestic to wildlife. I have hand reared the young, from kittens and puppies to bats and badgers.I have .nursed the old ,patched up the wounded and made the scared feel safe. I feel privilaged to have been able to experience the joy.I began working for myself in 2016 after a spell of working with vunerable people. There is something so special whether it tame or wild in being blessed with the company of fur and feathers whether it be tame or wild.

I have many years experince as both a dog owner and dog walker and also experience in nursing so i'm more than able to able to administer medication if necessary. I am also able to include training into walks.

Once some dogs reach a certain age ,they can find it difficult or trying fitting in with younger dogs. Although their mind feels they are still a pup their body is not as agile.

It's instinct for them to want to play and chase ,so i offer solo walks for older ,disabled or those who find group walks over welming. This allows them to do things at their own ability and get one to one attention .

Most of my dogs have been/ are elderly or have difficulties .

Walking and building a relationship with them can help to overcome anxieties and feel safe when away from their parents and also offers parents the security of knowing their furbaby will get my undivided attention.

I like to work along side owners especially in the begginning as this impacts on my relationship with my dogs. If parents and walker are happy then pooch is also happy.
