Hi, I’m Katia! 🐾 I’m a huge animal lover and have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I’ve always enjoyed caring for animals and getting to know their individual personalities, routines and needs. I also have a Pomeranian of my own, so I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can genuinely trust.

My approach is very much tailored to each individual pet. I know that every animal has their own routine, personality and comfort level, so I’ll always follow the instructions you provide around feeding, walks, playtime, sleep and anything else that helps them feel settled. I’m happy to care for dogs as well as other animals.

Time alone: I take your pet’s age, personality and individual needs into account when deciding how long they can comfortably be left alone. For dogs, I follow the general guidance that they shouldn’t be left alone for more than around four hours, with puppies, elderly dogs or dogs with additional needs requiring more frequent care and attention.

Medication: I’m happy to administer oral medication when clear instructions are provided. Where appropriate, I can make medication easier by hiding a tablet in a small amount of something tasty — but I’ll always check the owner’s instructions first, as some medications need to be given whole or on an empty stomach.

When house sitting, I treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I follow your house rules, keep doors, windows and gates secure, make sure pets cannot access anything unsafe, and don’t have visitors unless specifically agreed. I’ll also keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible and make sure I have your emergency and vet details should I ever need them.

Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away — and for you to have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring hands. ❤️🐶🐱🐾
