Hi, I’m Priya. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with my beloved pet cat Marco for twelve years, and that bond only deepened my passion for caring for and understanding animals. While my experience with cats has been a constant, this is my first step into professional pet care, and I’m thrilled to be taking on this new challenge with enthusiasm and dedication.

I’ve always wanted a dog of my own someday, but for now, this is my way of being close to them in the meantime. During my university days, I attended the dog-walking society a few times, which gave me some experience walking and socializing dogs of different breeds and sizes. This helped strengthen my confidence around dogs and reinforced my commitment to their well-being. Recently, I spent time with my friend while she was dog-sitting, and I loved every moment of it. I’ve also raised two pet chickens myself until they were about a year old, which taught me even more about animal care and responsibility.

As someone who is vegetarian because of my love for animals, I also hope for future developments in lab-grown meat to help stop all animal suffering. This role is part of my dream to one day care for a lot of farm animals in a sanctuary at a country home.

When it comes to pet care, I offer a safe, loving, and attentive environment for your furry (or feathered!) friends. I only board up to two dogs at a time, ensuring each pet gets plenty of individual attention and a calm, stress-free experience. My home is large, with a fully fenced garden that opens into a nearby park; perfect for secure and enjoyable dog walks. We had bought this house with dog-walking ease as the intention. The gates are regularly checked to ensure they’re safe and secure, and guest pets are welcome to sleep in my room if you provide their bedding. This way, they feel close to companionship, especially during their first night.

I don’t have another job, so I’m available every day and can supervise your pets 24/7. My mother and sister also live in the home with me, and we’re all animal lovers who understand the importance of providing a nurturing environment. Whether it’s a short dog walk, a cozy nap, or just some extra cuddles, I’m here to make every moment a positive one for your pet. Let’s ensure they feel safe, happy, and right at home!

Medication: I’m comfortable administering simple, straightforward medication to pets, such as pills hidden in treats or liquid medication that can be easily mixed into food. However, if your pet requires more complex or stressful administration (e.g., forcing pills into the back of the mouth), I’d recommend discussing alternative solutions with you first, as I was only comfortable doing this with my cat who trusted me very well.
