I’m an Australian animal lover currently living in Manchester for the next two years. I’ve grown up surrounded by pets my entire life and have a Certificate II in Animal Studies, along with five years of experience working in a veterinary clinic as a receptionist and junior vet nurse. Animals have always been at the centre of my world.

Back home, my fur baby Poppy — a 4‑year‑old Chinese Crested cross rescue — is staying with family while I’m abroad. I miss her every day, so spending time with other people’s pets brings me a lot of joy. I’m confident caring for dogs of all sizes, from tiny toy breeds right up to Great Danes, and I’ve also looked after a wide range of animals including cats, rabbits, chickens, sheep, cows, horses, and fish. Plus, I’d love the opportunity to meet and care for animals from all around the world while I’m travelling.

Outside of animal care, I’m a very chill, low‑key person. My friends affectionately call me a “nanna” because I don’t enjoy late nights out — I’m much happier with a cosy evening in, a warm drink, and a furry companion by my side. The one exception is my love of walking, which makes dog‑friendly adventures a perfect fit for me.

Caring for animals is something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I always treat every pet with the same love, patience, and respect I give my own.
