Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with plenty of experience caring for cats and dogs.
I have two cats with completely different personalities, so I know how individual pets are — from confident attention-seekers to quiet observers. I’ve grown up with and looked after cats and dogs for friends, family, and neighbours.
I always want to be sure that my cats are taken care of when I'm away, so I understand how important it is to have an attentive sitter! I will closely follow your pet's routine and preferences: I’m confident with feeding, litter cleaning, walks, and basic medication — and will make time for play, cuddles, or personal space!
I mostly work remotely on a flexible schedule, so I'm available most days. I'm a library assistant, an audio describer for visually impaired audiences, and writing mentor for children. My work is very community-centred!
I’ll always treat your pets and home with kindness and respect. I will send regular updates and photos so you know your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy. I’d love to know your pet's:
• Usual routine
• Dietary needs
• Health needs, including medical history, medication
• Personality, energy level, quirks
• Favourite activities, toys, treats or hiding spots
• How they are with people and other animals
• Any house rules

I have been around dogs from a very young age, from walking a neighbours dog weekly, to dog sitting for friends, and as an adult looking after and training our family dog.I absolutely adore dogs and love spending time with and getting to know lots of different breeds of dogs. I love to travel and therefore it is not practical to have my own dog, but I get great joy from caring for other people's dogs.Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I will always follow any specific instructions you provide to ensure that they feel safe and well cared for.I love to explore different places for walks. I also enjoy playing games and keeping your dog mentally stimulated with lots of puzzles and challenges.I have a flexible schedule and am available at the weekends as well, so can easily be around for your dog, particularly if you just need them walked in the middle of the day whilst you are away from home.

Hi! I'm a caring and reliable pet owner with plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals — I currently have four cats and a dog of my own, so I'm very used to different personalities, routines and needs!Having my own pets means I know how important it is to find someone you genuinely trust when you're away. I will care for your pets as I would want someone to care for mine, while keeping their usual routine as familiar and stress-free as possible.I'm happy to help with feeding, fresh water, litter trays, playtime, walks, companionship and general day-to-day care. I'll always follow your instructions carefully, including individual feeding routines and any particular likes, dislikes or habits your pet has.I'm especially patient with shy or nervous animals and I'm happy to let them approach me in their own time rather than overwhelming them. Whether your pet wants lots of play and attention or would rather have some quiet company and space, I'll adapt to them.During visits I'll also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can relax knowing how your pet is getting on while you're away. Most importantly, I'll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and cared for in their own home. I'd love to meet you and your pets beforehand, learn about their normal routine and make sure we're a good fit.

Hi! I’m a cat lover originally from Hong Kong, now settling into my new life in the UK. I’ve cared for cats for many years and truly enjoy understanding their unique personalities — whether they’re playful, shy, or independent.
I’m patient with timid cats, gentle with seniors, and always respectful of each cat’s routine.
During every visit, I’ll refresh food and water, clean the litter box, spend quality playtime, and give them space when they need it. I also provide photo and video updates so you always feel connected and reassured.
A normal visit lasts 45 minutes, including 15 minutes of feeding, 15 minutes of cleaning the cat litter bin, and 15 minutes of play time.
With over 8 years of experience with my own cats, I’m reliable, organised, and easy to communicate with.
Your cat’s comfort and safety will always be my top priority. I’d love to meet you and your cat to learn more about their needs.
Feel free to reach out anytime!
Cheers
Jade

Hello! I am Rachael and I am based in South Croydon. I am currently at university and am available for pet sitting over the summer (June to September). I recently arrived home after 10 months travelling Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia.
I am an experienced house/pet sitter. I have volunteered in a cattery in South London and during my travels in Melbourne and Tasmania, I looked after a range of animals including small, medium and large dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, chickens and a budgie. I also have a 5 year old cat at home.
If you are going on holiday or even just need someone trustworthy to pop in and check on your pets while you're still work, please let me know. I am looking to take care of your pet in your home, where they can stay relaxed and comfortable in their own familiar environment. My main priority is making sure your pets feel safe, settled and well cared for while you are away.

Hi! I’m Savannah, a reliable and caring pet sitter based in Warlingham, offering calm and attentive home visits so your pets can stay happy and relaxed in their own environment.
I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to follow your routine closely, whether that’s feeding, playtime, litter changes, medication, or simply offering company and reassurance. I always make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away
I’m a dog owner myself and share my home with a cockapoo, Teddy, so I understand the importance of patience, routine, and plenty of affection. This hands-on experience means I’m confident caring for dogs of different personalities and energy levels, as well as cats and other small pets.
I’m happy to send regular updates and photos for peace of mind, and I treat every home with respect. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my top priority.

Hi!
I have been working as a vet receptionist since 2023 and it is the most rewarding job I have had. Daily contact with pets makes work feel enjoyable and I want to spend time looking after pets outside of my work hours too. I became a professional pet sitter with Very Important Pets around the same time I started my job at the vets and have been doing cat feeding visits, live-in cat and dog sits with many repeat clients. I am hoping that I can make these pet sits more regular by creating a profile on Pawshake.
I completed first-aid training and have working knowledge of emergency triaging for cats and dogs, as well as procedural knowledge about vet practices and medications. I am also aspiring to become a vet when the time is right, so I have a keen interest in small animal pathology and am trying to pick up as much as I can on the job.
Animals are my passion and I will treat your pets as I would my own dogs, who are my life.
I am quite flexible on Wednesdays and weekends in or around Croydon. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out!Looking forward to meeting you and your furbabies x

I've been extremely fortunate to grow up and spend a lot of time with dogs of all varying breeds (GSD, Spaniels, Terriers, Cockapoo's and Labradors). More recently I've been walking and sitting for family and friends dogs which I absolutely love doing. This includes looking after dogs from pups to senior dogs, as well as differing temperaments.
Alongside this I've spent a lot of time training my own dog Freddie, a working Spaniel, including looking to begin scentwork and gundog training. I spend spare time researching into different breeds to see how they tick, and I firmly believe there is nothing better than seeing a dog do what it was bred for! I've worked alongside a trainer with Freddie but also with training a friends dog so if there is any bits of training you'd like continued, I am open to discussing that with you!
I am currently in the process of moving into dog walking/dog boarding full time, and so looking for some regular clients that I can help with their dogs going forwards. I currently have a lot of availability which can also be discussed further as to what suits you best for both walks and drop ins particularly in hot weather. For dog boarding, I can only accept 1 dog at a time. There will be supervised free roam of the garden allowed as well as downstairs in the home. Freddie is crate trained so should your dog require a bit of alone time, I can put Freddie away for a couple of hours. I can walk your dog solo or alongside Freddie. It is preferable if your dog is also crate trained, however if your dog stays in it's bed through the night that is fine. There is no access upstairs.
I am based in Old Coulsdon which gives me great access to Farthing Downs, but also over towards the Kenley aerodrome area which also provides some lovely walks. At the moment I prefer to walk dogs solo so that I can give them my full attention to build a bond with them, and I also know of some quieter areas to walk if your dog prefers less interaction. If you prefer your dog to be walked on lead then I can provide a 5m or 10m lead too. At the moment I don't have access to a car so I'm a bit more limited to local areas (Coulsdon, Purley, Caterham) but I can easily use public transport to get a bit further out if needs be.

I am passionate about animals, so much I work in the veterinary industry. Working alongside the veterinary team and gaining many years of experience and my ultimate goal is to become a registered veterinary nurse.
During my work in the pet professional care I monitor patients, recovery patients, do nurse consults and many more and creating a bond and trust with the animals and the owners.
I have always grown up with cats and dogs in my life and I currently have 2 Dogs in my family.
I understand that your pets are more than just animals; they are family. With years of experience and a genuine love for all creatures great and small, I am dedicated to providing best care for their companions.

I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they are happy, safe, and well-cared for when their owners are away. I understand how important it is to feel that your pets are in trustworthy hands, and I love providing that peace of mind through attentive, responsible, and compassionate care.
Since moving to my current home, I’ve regularly looked after the cats of four different neighbours while they were on holiday. My responsibilities have included daily feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning litter trays, giving attention and playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure in their own space. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and double-check details to ensure nothing is missed.
I do not take pets into my own home — instead, I care for them in their familiar environment, which I believe is less stressful and more comforting for them. I’m happy to water plants, collect post, and keep the home tidy, ensuring everything is just as you left it. Your pets will be treated as if they were my own, with the same care and attention to detail.
