Hello! I’m Denise — a warm, patient and animal‑loving caregiver who genuinely understands how unique every pet is.

I share my life with three wonderful rescue pets: two dogs and a cat that I found on the streets in Saudi Arabia. They’ve adapted amazingly to their new life in the UK, and together we’ve been learning, growing and navigating things like reactivity and building confidence around the car. Our walks get calmer and happier every week, and they’ve taught me so much about patience, reassurance and meeting animals where they are.

I hold a Canine First Aid certificate, have a DBS check, and I’m fully insured.

Most of my hands‑on dog experience comes from the last six years with my two medium (and very strong!) pups, but I also grew up with Jack Russell Terriers and their big personalities. Over the years I’ve cared for three very different cats, plus rabbits, hamsters, snakes and bearded dragons — so I’m comfortable discussing a variety of needs and routines. I’m happy to pop in for cat visits, whether that’s feeding, litter care, company or playtime.

My visits are usually 30 minutes, and I can return later the same day if needed. Longer dog walks or double visits are absolutely fine — just let me know. I don’t walk dogs off‑lead, but if you’d like your dog to have more freedom, I’m happy to arrange a secure dog‑park visit (depending on availability and with a small extra charge). I have a dog guard, seat belts and steps for safe travel, and all walks are private — only dogs from the same household.

I’ll only walk your dog if the weather is safe (no extreme heat), but I can always offer indoor play, enrichment and brain games during my visit. I do bring some interactive toys to keep things fun!

For safety, your dog should know some basic commands, and reactive dogs are completely fine — as long as I know what to expect so I can plan the safest, calmest walk possible.

I currently work full‑time, so most of my availability is on weekends and bank holidays, including Christmas and New Year. I update my calendar on days when I’m working from home or on annual leave, and my hope is to transition to full‑time pet care next year.
