I’m a calm, reliable pet sitter offering home visits for animals who are happiest staying in their own environment. I live with a dog, a cat, and six hens, so I’m very used to managing different routines, needs, and personalities. I have provided pet home visits for neighbours and family for the last five years, and am now offering my services in the Wigton and Caldbeck area.

I have a particular strength in caring for nervous, sensitive, or more complex pets. I understand that not all animals are easygoing, and I’m comfortable working with those who need a bit more patience, structure, and calm handling. My approach is steady and low-pressure, helping pets feel safe and settled while you’re away or out for the evening.

I offer home visits for dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, and chickens. This can include feeding, cleaning, companionship, and general wellbeing checks. I’m also happy to water houseplants or greenhouses during visits.

I can also provide evening sitting for pets on holiday, to allow you a relaxed holiday evening out.

I’ve completed Level 2 Pet First Aid training and support regular puppy training classes, giving me a good understanding of behaviour, routine, and safe handling.

I’ve found that I’m often the person friends turn to when they need someone reliable to look after their pets, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I like the routine and the quiet responsibility of making sure animals are well cared for in their own space. Offering pet sitting more formally feels like a natural extension of that, and a way to provide a steady, dependable service for others.
