Hello! My name is Maiia, and I’m a animal lover with a deep commitment to caring for pets of all kind and size. I am confident caring for aging pets, pets with special need or requiring medical support, have experience in international pet transferring and organising logistics.

Most meaningful experiences in my life was in Sweden during the Ukrainian refugee crisis. I supported families in distress arriving with pets who required mandatory medical checkup and often assistance, helping organise and provide it, as well as assisting in housing, legal support and humanitarian necessities.

In my life I cared for 80+ pets (dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, snakes, etc.), trained basics for puppies and older dogs, groomed pets, assisted with veterinary appointments, accompanied families before, during and after surgical operations, performed medical support treatments (including injections) and even supported the delivery of six puppies in a dormitory I was managing at that time. Knowing that first of these puppies was named after me still warms my heart today.

From a young age, I’ve grown up surrounded by cats and dogs, learning to understand their unique personalities, moods, and needs. Spending time with animals brings me genuine joy, and I love creating a safe, nurturing, and playful environment where they feel loved, comfortable and supported.

My experience with pets strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm in crisis situations, while taking responsibility for sorting them out. I bring this dedication to every pet I care for, whether it’s walking, feeding, grooming, or simply offering companionship.My motivation is simple: I believe every pet should feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away, and I treat each one as if they were part of my own family.
