Hello! My name is Maiia, and I’m a passionate animal lover with a deep commitment to caring for pets of all kinds. From a young age, I’ve grown up surrounded by cats and dogs, learning to understand their unique personalities, moods, and needs. Spending time with animals brings me genuine joy, and I love creating a safe, nurturing, and playful environment where they feel loved and comfortable.  

One of the most meaningful experiences in my life was volunteering in Sweden during the Ukrainian refugee crisis. I supported families arriving with pets, helping organise housing, managing dormitories, and providing humanitarian necessities. I cared for sick dogs, assisted with translation during veterinary appointments, treatments, and surgeries, and even supported the delivery of six puppies in a dormitory I was managing at theat time. Knowing that one of these puppies was named after me still warms my heart today.  

This experience strengthened my patience, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm in unexpected situations. I bring this dedication to every pet I care for, whether it’s walking, feeding, grooming, or simply offering companionship. My motivation is simple: I want every pet to feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away, and I treat each one as if they were part of my own family.
