After informally helping friends and colleagues look after their cats whilst they were away on work trips/travel, I have started cat-sitting full-time. I know how important stimulation and grooming is for cats, as I own a very hyper and very fluffy ragdoll/maine coone myself! I always bring toys and treats to give cats the right level of comfort when they're separated from their owner and may feel anxious about this. I also help owners brush their cats and clean any excess fur that may be bothering them. I am happy to come round to your house and feed as well as care for your cat according to a time schedule that works for you. I care for all types of cats from young to old and genuinely love spending time with them, these are pets that I grew up with and have very fond memories of! I know how to read cat's body language and based on their temperament I modify my behaviour. I always let cats who are unfamiliar with me, smell my hand first or smell my belongings to slowly get accustomed to me. I know some cats prefer not to be overly cuddled or touched and will make sure to give them their space if they need it. I am happy to help change litter trays and clean the surrounding areas. I also have extensive experience handling multiple cats and ensuring they are in harmony. My visits usually last between half an hour and 1 hour, however upon request I am happy to stay longer. I am free most mornings and afternoons. I am happy to come on last minute notice, providing your home is within Winchester limits. I will make sure to give a full report on your cats health, their eating habits and their behaviour to ensure you as an owner are kept in the loop. I look forward to meeting your cat!
