I’ve always had a huge soft spot for animals, and I know just how much our pets mean to us. They aren't “just pets” - they're part of the family, part of our routines, and often the little face we look forward to coming home to.

Having had my own dog, I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person you're trusting to look after them. I know first-hand that our animals are family, and I treat that responsibility with the same care I would want someone to show my own.

I've also volunteered with Dogs Trust and a greyhound rehoming centre, which gave me experience with dogs of different personalities, backgrounds and needs - including dogs who were nervous, anxious or had more challenging behaviours. I'm comfortable taking things at their pace and understand that not every dog wants lots of fuss or immediately trusts a new person. Sometimes the best thing you can do is give them a little space, patience and time.

I offer dog walking, home visits and pet sitting in your own home, so your pets can stay somewhere familiar and within their normal routine while you're away. I care for dogs and cats, and I'm happy to follow their usual feeding, walking, medication, play and daily routines wherever possible.

For dog walks, I'll tailor the walk to your dog rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether they need a good run and plenty of exercise (I'm a runner & used to run with my own dog too), a gentle stroll, lots of sniffing or simply a slower wander, I'll take their age, personality and energy levels into consideration.

For home visits and pet sitting, I can provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, cuddles, company and general care, as well as keeping an eye on things around your home while you're away.

I don't offer boarding in my own home, but I'm very happy to care for your pets in theirs, where they already feel safe and comfortable.

I also know that leaving your pet with someone new can feel like a big thing, so I'm very happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand. We can get to know each other, go through their routine and chat about anything I should know about their personality, behaviour or needs.

Every animal is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know them for who they are.
