Being a dog owner myself, I understand just how important the bond between humans and animals is. I currently have two dogs of my own, so I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. That’s exactly why I approach dog sitting and walking with patience, attention, and genuine love for animals.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve raised and cared for several dogs, including a Brittany, a toy terrier, and a Husky/Labrador mix. Each of them had completely different personalities and needs, which taught me how important it is to adapt your approach to every individual dog. Some dogs are energetic and love long, active walks, while others prefer a slower pace and more time to sniff and explore. I always adjust walks to match the dog’s age, energy level, and temperament so they feel comfortable and happy.

Safety is always my top priority during walks and visits. I make sure dogs are securely leashed, avoid crowded or stressful environments if a dog is nervous, and stay alert to other dogs, traffic, and surroundings. I’m also very mindful of weather conditions and make sure dogs get plenty of water and breaks when needed. If your dog has specific routines, commands, or preferences, I’m always happy to follow them so they feel as relaxed as possible.

I’m also comfortable helping with basic training and reinforcing good habits. My Brittany successfully participated in competitions, so I have experience with structured training, consistency, and positive reinforcement techniques.

Above all, I always try to build a genuine connection with the dogs I care for. I believe every dog deserves attention, patience, and kindness, and I take the time to understand their personality so they feel safe and comfortable around me.
