I'm a 31-year-old professional based in North London. I've had cats all my life, but I love all animals and have spent a lot of time around dogs as well. My partner knows by now that if we see a dog or cat in the street, we have to stop and say hello, they can't pull me away! My sweet cat Peggy passed away recently from old age, and I'm looking forward to spending time with animals while I work towards welcoming a new pet into my life in the future.

I've previously worked as a pet sitter when I wasn't able to keep animals in rented accommodation, and I loved getting to know so many wonderful pets and their owners. Over the years, I've cared for cats, dogs, and small pets with a range of personalities and needs, from energetic and playful companions to shy or nervous animals who need a gentler approach. I enjoy taking the time to understand each pet as an individual and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy in my care.

I work remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility to visit your home and spend quality time with your pets. Whether you need a quick 30-minute check-in or a longer visit lasting several hours, I'm happy to adapt to your pet's routine. A typical visit can include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays or other living areas, playtime, companionship, cuddles, administering medication if needed, and making sure your pet gets plenty of attention and enrichment. I'll always follow your instructions carefully and tailor my care to your pet's specific preferences and needs.

Safety is very important to me. I'll make sure doors, windows, and gates are secure throughout my visit, double-check that your pet is safe before leaving, and keep your home tidy and secure while you're away. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for both your pet and your home.

If an emergency were to arise, I stay calm and act quickly. I would immediately assess the situation, contact you to keep you informed, and seek veterinary advice or treatment as needed. Alongside your own vet's details, I have a good relationship with a local emergency veterinary practice and am comfortable following care instructions or administering prescribed medications. Your pet's wellbeing will always be my top priority.

Communication is something I take seriously, and I'll be quick to respond to messages, questions, or updates. During visits, I'll keep you informed with regular updates and photos so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away.

I'm available at a variety of times throughout the week and am happy to be flexible wherever possible to meet your needs. I look forward to chatting with you and learning all about your pet and their unique personality!
