About me

I'm 29, currently a master's student working on my dissertation. I got into pet sitting because I grew up around dogs and missed having one around after moving to the UK. I'm based in North East London, zone 3, with a few pet-friendly parks nearby for walks.

Availability

I'm generally free mornings, afternoons, and evenings, any day of the week, since my dissertation schedule is flexible. For home visits and dog walks I can usually work around your schedule with 3 days' notice where possible.

About my services

• Home visits: I visit twice a day, one hour per visit. Alongside feeding and care, I can water plants, bring in mail, take out bins, and do basic clean up of the play pen.
• Dog walks: around 45 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at noon, usually at a nearby park. I come to your home to collect your dog.
• House sitting: I can stay in your home for up to a week at a time, following your dog's existing routine plus basic chores such as daily vacuuming.
• Training: basic command reinforcement during the stay.
• Grooming: available if you can walk me through your pet's usual routine and products beforehand.

How I care for your pet

I follow your pet's existing routine as closely as possible: feeding times, walks, playtime, fresh water, and clean-up. I plan visits around minimising alone time and send regular photo updates so you're not left wondering how things are going.

My experience

My direct experience is with dogs, including multi-dog households, where I make sure each dog still gets individual attention rather than being treated as a group. I'm also comfortable with anxious or reactive dogs: I let them set the pace, avoid forcing contact, and watch for body language cues rather than pushing through discomfort.

I don't currently offer boarding at my own place, so all sitting is done at the owner's home.

Recently I completed a sit for a 4 month old cocker spaniel puppy, high energy and still learning boundaries, matching her energy with play and attention throughout the day. Alongside the usual routine, I worked on correcting some puppy behaviour during the stay, and the owner was happy with how she settled by the end.
