About Ece

I adopted my first cat about six to seven years ago while still living at my parents' house, and since then, I've never gone without one — every place I've lived since has had at least one cat in it. That's six to seven years straight of daily cat care, including time spent in shared rental houses with friends where I helped look after up to three cats at once — everything from feeding and litter box maintenance to giving medicine when needed. For a while, I also fostered kittens, which taught me a lot about caring for the most vulnerable little ones — feeding schedules, extra warmth, and close attention to their health. Between that and years of everyday cat care, I feel confident looking after cats at any life stage, from tiny kittens to senior cats, and I know how to care for sick or medically needy cats as well.

I offer in-home visits, so your cat stays in their own familiar environment rather than being boarded elsewhere — I come to you. Visits typically run 20–30 minutes, though this is flexible depending on what you and your cat need — whether that's a quick feeding and litter check, a longer visit with playtime and cuddles, or help with medication and extra care for an unwell cat.

I'm especially comfortable with shy or anxious cats. I never force affection or comfort — I simply give them time and space, letting them come to me at their own pace. In case of an emergency, I stay as calm as possible and do everything within my ability to help; if it's beyond what I can safely manage, I'll reach out to a professional right away.

I keep owners updated during every visit or stay, as often as they'd like — whether that's a quick message after each visit or regular check-ins throughout, I'm happy to match whatever level of communication makes you feel most comfortable.

My schedule is very flexible, so I can usually accommodate most days and times, including short-notice requests. I'm open to cats of all ages and temperaments — kittens, seniors, shy, energetic, or medically needy — there's no type of cat I'm not comfortable with.

Cat sitting isn't just a job for me; it's a way to stay close to something I love while I'm not yet in a position to adopt my own.
