Licenced Dog Boarder in Woodley.

We are Sue and Chris. We are fully licenced dog boarders issued by Wokingham Council for boarding of dogs in our house and we are DBS checked. This will be shown on your arrival. Rest assured that your pets are safe in our hands while you are away. We both run our normal business from home so we have plenty of time to interact with the dogs during the day and also time to play and walk the dogs.

We have a dog and a cat at our home whom we love very much, Luna our Chinese Crested Powderpuff loves nothing better than a walk where she gets a chance to sniff the world and Chi-chi is lazy like all cats.

We offer a free stay and play ½ hour where you can see if the dogs get on with each other as you know how dogs are some make strange and others are too friendly and of course the cat.

Services

We provide many services: Home Boarding, Dog Day Care and Home Visits.

All dogs must be well behaved, fully house trained, neutered/spayed and must like other dogs and cats and obviously people as well.

Home Boarding

Your dog will be treated as our own for the duration of their stay, they will receive 3 walks a day and have access to our garden whenever they want. We accept dogs after 8am.

Day Care

Your dog will be treated as our own for the duration of their stay, they will receive 2 walks a day and have access to our garden whenever they want. We accept dogs after 8 am.

Home Visits

We will look after your pets in your house while you are on holiday.

We can do a house check for you when we visit your house, check the front and rear of the property and just check all windows and doors and taps for water leakage, this is all included in the Home Visit.

Our House

Our home is a non-smoking house.

We have a fair-sized house with four bedrooms on the upper two floors and two reception rooms downstairs, a hallway and a large kitchen and entrance porch. We have a two-door entrance so no dog can escape the house while someone else enters. The house is in good repair and presently nicely for you to view we are quite house proud.

The garden is fully enclosed with no gates at the rear of the property. The garden is an ample sized garden for your dog to run around while staying with us.

Walks

I walk the dogs at 8 am for 30 minutes maybe a little more, this depends on how much they want to sniff whilst on their walk, the walk depends on the weather, Dinton is very close to me and is only 5 minutes away walking.

I take them again at 2:30 pm for 30 minutes again.

They will have access to the garden at all times during the day. I normally go out at 11 am and throw the ball for the dogs so they have a run around for 20 minutes.

Dog boarders get another walk at 8 pm for 30 minutes, depends on the dog but I find that most dogs are fine until the morning but this depends on the dog, I can let them out again for a quick run around the garden at 10 pm.

Sleeping

The dogs have a choice of 6 rooms to sleep in. You will provide their dog bed so they will be more as ease.

Eating

Each dog will be fed separately and will have water of their own in this room. We ask that you provide the dog's own food, this is comfort for them and they have less to stress about.

I do have 2 girls aged 17 and 15, they play with the dogs but do not walk them outside unless with myself or Sue.
